This was our first visit to the exciting brand new Bravo Zulu bar and grill at the Shore Acres Inn and Restaurant on the Inland Sea of Lake Champlain. A lovely day on the water, a slight breeze from the south made waves just shy of white caps. We had a very good turnout - 16 people, 5 boats made it, 6 folks aboard Ed Bombard’s “Wild Rose”. Two of our newer members joined us, David Moyer, and Lawrence Miller. Lawrence brought “Phoebe” a beautiful 32’ 1936 cabin cruiser made by the American Car and Foundry Co.

Although Bravo Zulu doesn’t normally take reservations the amazing staff managed to put enough tables together to accommodate us. The retractable roof and walls shaded us from the hot sun while the breeze flowed through. The staff went out of their way to take care of us, especially when one of our members felt dizzy. Their assistance was truly exemplary. The dock hands were very helpful on the four finger dock system, as we juggled dock spots. They also have three mooring balls. We will be looking forward to having more rendezvous at this wonderful place! Below are pictures from the event.
